  1. Hi Rob, How many posts should you have scheduled in advance before you publish a new blog? I’m looking to start a 3rd and want to plan it out much more than I did with my other blogs. Thank you.

    • A third blog! Wow, you’re busy 😂🙌

In my dream world, I like to publish about one post per week depending upon the length/depth and time it takes to create each piece of content. If you plan ahead for enough momentum on your main site to run on “autopilot” for about a month while you publish more content/schedule it out for your new blog, that should be a pretty good buffer and allow you some room to go back and forth between writing for each of your sites without too many publishing gaps—until of course, life happens 😉

  2. Hi,
Thanks for the great info on starting a blog. I am about to set up a blog that will be mostly political commentary. I also have numerous papers and presentations I have written over the years that I would like to post and make accessible to visitors, apart from my periodic blogging. Do you have advice as to how I can upload them on separate pages?

    • That’s a great idea! I’d recommend publishing your already written work as “new” blog posts on your site—and if they’ve been published anywhere else previously (like a university publication, local newspaper, journal, magazine, etc) then just reference that the article was published elsewhere first too.

  3. Hi, I just started my blog on WordPress 10 days ago and already have 100 views. I don’t really have a specific niche, however, my blog will be centered around anti multi level marketing content and other unethical business models, as well as general scams and how to not fall for them (I also dive into my other favorite topics). Since the topic is popular on YouTube, would it translate well with a blog? You can use my blog post “30 things” for reference.

    • I think that’s a great niche you’ve already found for yourself! Anti-MLM & anti-scam content is a great niche to focus on, and you’ll absolutely do well by pairing YouTube videos with written blog content (it’ll help your content get discovered by more people via search on both YouTube and Google). Keep up the great work, that’s an awesome start! 👏

  7. I love WordPress because of lots of features and plugins. You can create any website that cross your mind for almost anything.

For beginners, how many posts you suggest for a week?

    Reply
    • Yes! Absolutely agree. I don’t think there’s a hard rule about how many posts you should publish each week (ever), especially as you’re just getting started, learning so much and going through a lot of hard lessons. My advice is to do what feels right without stressing yourself too much—if you’re able to publish one long-form article per week in your side time while getting your blog off the ground, I’d call that a solid win.

  12. I don’t doubt the amount you said you make every month via blogging, in fact, this write up is an award winning one. I am impressed and well educated by its effectiveness and clarity.
There is a humour in my place concerning a warrior that just returned from the war, on returning home, people saw him that he trampled seven chicken to death.
While addressing people that came out to welcome him, he told people that he was able to kill seven generals.
The whole congregation believed him, why? If they could not see him killed those generals, yet, they saw him trampled seven chicken.
This tutorial stands out. More grace Mr Ryan.
